Painter and photographer, he's been studying, from many years, an extensive research about the image's "contemporary" perception.
Looking at a picture today is something else than when it was thirty years ago. Today we are subjected to constant visual imput, as it is through the images that we convey our daily content.
The exorbitant consumption of such visual input means that we stand in front of a picture with the same "bulimia" with which we leaf through the pages of the web;  we have lost the sense of the right pending, of the slow time or, in a word, the emotional pleasure.
On this basis, the research conducted by the artist (almost exclusively on human images) passes through the selection of compositions in which the detail and the small information predominate, elements that force the viewer to reconstruct the global immage, using their own experiences of the visible; but at the same time every detail is enriched with traces of materials and colorings, textures and thicknesses that belong to the ancient world of painting and that invite the viewer to grasp, over time, the absolute calm of the after, of the tomorrow, the elements changing, the nuances and the differences; in a word, the emotion of watching.
